The Sube Curriculum Map is a multipurpose chart that lists all the Sube activities according to categories that will help you determine how, when and where to use each activity. It was designed to help you customize your lessons to develop specific skills and identify learning gaps. The curriculum map provides the skill set and time duration for each activity.
The skill sets tell you the which skills are developed through that activity. This is helpful when you want to find an activity that addresses a specific learning gap that you have identified. For example, when reviewing animal vocabulary with your class you might find a student can read the word "perro from a flashcard, but can not recall the word when a dog is pointed out in a storybook. Simply go to the chart and look for activities in the animals theme, then go across to communication skill in the chart, and find activities that develp communication skills.
