Music video reinforces and accelerates learning

The Sube music video incorporates vocabulary and phrases from the curriculum. A powerful tool to reinforce the content through visual, kinesthetic and auditory modalities. Kids sing and dance along to the short 4 minute clips and beg for more.

The Sube Scope and Sequence Overview helps you determine the proficency level of your class and provides the proficiency benchmarks for each Sube program level: Beginner, Early-Intermediate, and Advanced. This chart also helps determine students proficiency. More

 

Unit tests provide valuable feedback

Unit tests were designed to help you assess student progress. They can be administered before each unit (to demonstrate prior knowledge) or after (to demonstrate growth). Includes a student-directed test and a teacher-directed test for every unit. These tests were developed by a NYC teacher following the NYSELAT standards to optimize tracking and feedback. More

Aligned to New Mexico state standards

Sube was founded in New Mexico and therefore provides a complete standard alignment with the NM Performance Standards for Modern, Classical, and Native Languages K-5. These standards can easily be correlated to your state standards.

Aligned with TESOL international standards

The Sube Spanish is mirror content form the Sube English curriculum which was aligned with the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) standards. These internationally recognized standards and benchmarks for language proficiency were then used to align our Sube Spanish curriculum.


Research based methodology

Sube incorporates unique activities and techniques
based on various language theories and methodologies that have proven successful in second language
instruction. In addition, Sube was founded on the valuable lessons learned from children raised in bilingual
homes, where the native language and second language are introduced simultaneously.
