The Sube flashcards are included in the Sube Beginner Spanish curriculum kit. They are color-coded and laminated, providing years of classroom use. This file is the reproducible version so you can print and cut out to try in your classroom. Just download the game sampler and use the flashcards to play the games listed there.

Accountability Pack
The Sube Benchmark Evaluation Chart provides a detailed list of benchmarks for each skill base that Sube addresses: Communication, Reading, Print Awareness/Writing, Mathematics, etc. This chart will help you track student progress and help identify and fill learning gaps. The Sube chart is unique because it gives special attention to the development of speaking skills throughout each unit.

The Sube standard alignment includes a copy of the TESOl standards as well as a reference chart that aligns each Sube activity to the Tesol standards. This chart demonstrates how Sube meets the highest standards for teaching a second language and also shows you exactly which benchmarks are addressed with each Sube game, activity or project. At a glance you can see why Sube provides a complete and balanced curriculum for language learning.
TESOL/SUBE Standard Alignment Sample (pdf)
The Sube curriculum is based on years of research on how to teach a second language effectively in the classroom. It has been field tested successfully in classrooms nationwide during which time we have developed new and excting techniques and strategies that accelerate learning and make the process of teaching and learning a second language easy and fun. The Sube Methodology outline provides a detailed explanation of the theories and research that formed the Sube program and how we have developed strategies and techniques based on this research, as well as our first hand experiences in the classroom.

The Sube curriculum can be used with beginning learners from preschool through to 5th grade. This means that you will find a variety of activities for the different age groups and where needed, suggestions on how to adapt the activities accordingly. For preschool teachers it may at first glance appear too advanced, so we are creating a scope and sequence chart specifically for preschool students. The attached file is the draft version and helps to visualize how the Sube curriculum meets the needs of the youngest learners.

The new Sube manual version 3.1 includes a teacher-directed test and a student-directed test for each Sube unit. The tests were designed with the NYSELAT test format and provide comprehensive assessment strategies.
